The path to Crother’s Woods

IMG_0571

If you are heading west on Pottery Road, just after you cross the river and then the Go rail line, there is a muddy looking parking lot often filled with mountain biker’s cars. From there starting heading north along the trail, keeping to the most right fork. This spectacular (and sometimes muddy) trail climbs to offer some vertigo inducing views of the Don River. The trail eventually leads into Crother’s Woods which has a loop of upgraded and well gravelled paths. If you are feeling up for a longer walk head towards the hydro line pylon where you meet up with the Old CP rail line. From there head south under Bayview and keep going till you hit the Brickworks.
